CLARK VANDERGRIFT - DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

American cinematographer Clark Vandergrift came to prominence crafting powerful visuals in the world of still photography. Shooting ad campaigns for name brand clients was the norm. But it was perhaps his much lauded personal and fine art imagery, such as Tree People, that garnered him the most notoriety as an image creator. Transitioning into the world of motion pictures was the next step in a natural evolution that now sees him creating visuals for commercial, documentary, and scripted narrative films. For his work on The Road to Galena, Clark received Best Cinematographer of the Season honors at the Montreal Independent Film Festival.
